3M™ DBI-SALA© Short Reach Davit Assembly
The 3M™ DBI-SALA® Confined Space Short Reach Davit Assembly is designed to support up to two users weighing 140kg each, with material handling capabilities up to 205 kg in mobile bases, and 340 kg in fixed bases when suitable devices are equipped.
Designed for use with 3M™ davit bases as part of a confined space rescue and work support system.
The Davit Assembly features a modular design for easy transport and storage. It is constructed from aluminium, followed by a mixture of high visibility of green and gloss black powder coatings. Both the arm height and reach can be adjusted and are securely locked using detent pins which are attached by using retracting lanyards that help prevent breaks and snags.

- Front and rear mounting capabilities enable opposing winch handles and versatile mounting heights

- Anti-rotation, non-removable Davit head
- Self-retracting pin lanyards help prevent breaks and snags
- Fluorescent green powder-coated finish for high visibility
- Meets the requirements of the machinery directive 2006/42/EC for manually-operated lifting up to 340 kg with approved bases
